A flock of sheep

I had fun with my crochet hook in the train last weekend (two 8 hours journeys).
I made 7 sheep, however, only 6 made it back home... One was bought by my seat neighbour in the train.

Free pattern here
I modified the pattern slightly by crocheting the scarf circle and tails in one piece. Also, I made another body part for the back.

I also made a few mushrooms...

 Merry Christmas !!!

Three little monsters

This year I decided to crochet hats for my nephews and niece for Christmas. The minion hat beanie pattern is here, and the other two are just improvised, although based on the minion hat pattern.

They also wanted Minions, so I made one each (free pattern here)

I can't wait to see them next week and give them their presents....

Winter wreath

Long time no see!
I've done loads of things this year but I will show you my latest project. A winter wreath for a friend's xmas present.
Free pattern here: http://www.repeatcrafterme.com/2013/11/crocheted-snowball-wreath.html
It is an easy and fast project. I used the yarn I had in my stash, so I had to adapt the number of stitches for wrapping the polystyrene wreath. I am very happy with the results, I am sure my friends will be pleased with it as well.

I love the snowman so much that I made several of then to give as present.

Have a nice weekend.

Happy New Year

Happy 2013 everybody!!!!

I would like to show you the latest things I've knitted:
A scarf for my friend Amberly who lives in Seattle. Pattern called "fear of commitment" free on Ravelry here.

And some knotty gloves, free pattern on Ravelry as well.

Both scarf and gloves were knitted with 100% alpaca from Caserita. I used 2 strands of yarn for the scarf and only one for the gloves. I should post them to Amberly next week.

A simple shawl, cold mountain (free pattern on Knitty), knitted with some nice baby merino from Malabrigo.

I also used some left over yarn from various projects to make some Christmas decorations (free pattern here)

 and an improvised a snowman...

That's it for now! Happy Knitting!
